The Bike Studio is an independent mobile bike repair and pickup service based in Fullerton, California. This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and who it is shared with. It applies to this website only.
When you book a service or send us a message, we collect what you enter into the form: your name, phone number, email address, pickup address, details about your bike and the work requested, and any photos or video you choose to attach.
When you visit the site, limited technical information is collected automatically through analytics: pages viewed, approximate location (city or region, derived from your IP address), device and browser type, the site or search that referred you, and the general time and duration of your visit. This is not linked to your name or contact details.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
This site relies on outside providers to function. Each one receives only the information it needs, and each handles that information under its own privacy policy. These include:
We use Google Analytics for site analytics, described below, and Square for gift cards and payment processing if and when we add it. Square processes payment information directly; we never see or store card details. This site also loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use it. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies on your device and collects the technical information described above. We use it only in aggregate to improve the site. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run ad retargeting, and we do not sell analytics data.
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your visit by installing Google’s opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. The rest of the site will continue to work normally.
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for how sites should respond to these signals, and this site does not currently respond to them. We do not track you across other websites, and we do not allow third parties to do so through this site.
We keep booking and contact records only as long as reasonably needed for service history, warranty support, and our own business records. Analytics data is retained by Google under its standard retention period for our account.
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct anything that’s wrong, or delete your records. Email Thebikestudio247@gmail.com and we’ll take care of it. We may need to keep limited records where we’re required to, such as for tax or warranty purposes.
This site is served over an encrypted connection, and information you submit is transmitted securely to the services listed above. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
This site is intended for adults arranging bike service. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy, we’ll update the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted here. Please check back occasionally.
